The Day of Don Juan Manuel

Throughout the year there has been an ongoing about what to do on the day of Don Juan Manuel. There were many options, for instance going to a theme park was one option. But in the end, teachers decided to organize something at our high school. It was something like a sports day and a social ocasion.

At the begining, "incredible as it may seem" it wasn't a popular decision. The majority of people believed that it would have been better if we had gone on a trip, the further, the better.

Nevertheless, I believe that it was very entertaining, although this tipe of event should be done more often and it shouldn`t be a one off in order to celebrate this date. For example: the day when we get our marks or perhaps a previous day when we haven't goy anything to do.

Last May 29th, we celebrated at our high school the day of Don Juan Manuel. This day was fundamentally to foment the social relationships among the different sectors of the educational community.The plan was:

9:300 to 11:30	A walk.
11:30 to 12:30	Meeting in the high school where we would eat some food or drink some coke.
13:00 to 15:00	Football matches among teachers and students.

Well, it’s true that students of 1º of Bachillerato weren’t treated like the rest of people. Why? Due to teachers didn’t let us participate on football match against our teachers, so it was obvious witch none wanted to go to the other activities that were more boring. On the one hand some teachers said us that only three students of my class would be able to play, but in my opinion it wasn’t fair because all the students could play but we had to choose only THREE of our classmates, who would be able to play. One teacher said that we were the older in the school and the best playing football, therefore it wouldn’t be interesting…

Along these lines, both Marcos and Jose Luis went to sport center, however when they arrived there, teachers said them that they couldn’t play unless we had gone to walk before, obviously if from a beginning they didn’t let us play, we weren’t going to walk. They wanted to play, so we were trying it for a long time, ever though it was like talking to a brick wall, but thank to some teachers, Marcos and Jose Luis could participate in the match with teachers’ team.
Needless to say that teachers’ team beat the older team whose players were of 4º ESO. When this match finished it was played other match but in this time versus a girls’ team, although its better not talk about that. People said that it was very funny, didn’t they Tamara?

As regards the other events it’s necessary to emphasize the ping-pong games versus teachers. Moreover I played ping-pong too, but I am not going to talk about my defeats but rather my victories, right? (Carolina).
On the other hand, I will always have a big doubt of how Sara plays ping-pong because she didn’t dare to play at least ahead ours… In fact she only played with Alejandro who said that Sara plays very well.

To sum to, I WANT TO BEAT YOU (teachers) so WE MUST PLAY "THE MATCH". uhahahahaha

Today

Currently we are working in order to play another football match the next week, but in this occasion we will play alone versus the teachers. I have talked with Fran, who is going to try doing the teachers’ team. However we will have to talk with Elena and Miriam to organize the match. NEWS: Perhaps "The Big Day" will be the next Monday.
